Our goal it to share a mutual enjoyment of woodworking, educate and perhaps even inspire, but most of all to have fun and not take ourselves too seriously.
Our meetings are open to anyone who wishes to participate. Membership in OCWA is encouraged if you enjoy your visit with us.

The OCWA meets on the first Thursday of each month.  The meetings feature a guest who will speak, and or demonstrate on a wide variety of subjects related to working with wood.

Each month, dozens of OCWA members get together for Toy making workshops.  We help each other cut, sand, assemble, and finish the toys with Deft. These high quality wooden toys are delivered to charitable organizations based in Orange County, California on the day after Thanksgiving. 

The OCWA includes the special interest group called  Orange County Woodturners. 
This is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners.  The OCturners are active in the Toy Program, and make and distribute pens to our Military.

Each year, the Orange County Woodworkers Association hosts the Orange County Fair's, Fine Art Woodworking competition.  Members attend the fair, giving demonstrations making tops to handout to children, and to just have fun.

A mentoring program, discounts at local woodworking suppliers and the shared love of woodworking are just some of the benefits of becoming a member.
